Analu has designed this new route, based on her own experience traveling in, and leading groups to India for the last 11 years; and inspired by her own pilgrimages, studies and inner work there with various teachers in India and visiting various areas. The trip is aimed at Yoga teachers, and/or anyone who is interested in deepening their spiritual growth, incorporating the various Eastern philosophies such as Yoga, Buddhism, Vedanta and other Eastern teachings and exploring them through visits to sacred sites, practices, classes, and enriching cultural experiences that nurture self-knowledge and spiritual development.

    • SHIMLA: Visit to the Jakhu temple, “The Viceregal Lodge”, the second oldest church in northern India and the city center.

    • RISHIKESH: Daily yoga, kirtan and Indian music concert, traditional Vedic fire ceremony, meditation classes, walks along the Ganges, visit to the Beatles Ashram, Yoga philosophy class, and learn with local yoga teachers.

    • VARANASI: Meditation, early morning boat ride along the Ganges River with live music, visit to Sarnath, where the Buddha gave his first speech, several sacred temples and participation in the Aarti ceremony on the Ganges River.

    • AGRA: Visit to the Red Fort, Taj Mahal, and the Marble Factory.

+ About the Tour Leader

You can see Analu's biography here. She has been working as a tour guide, wellness retreat leader and yoga teacher training teacher since 2007. She is an E-RYT500 International Yoga Teacher and meditation teacher since 2009. She has been living between Costa Rica and Bali since 2016, Costa Rican and musician. She has spent much of her life studying, learning and teaching spirituality inspired by various Eastern traditions such as Vedanta, Tibetan Buddhism and Yoga.

Your tour guide:

Analu has visited India extensively since 2014, studying Yoga, Meditation, Philosophy, Music, Buddhism and Vedanta there; she has guided and led trips with Pranaluz in various areas of India since 2015 and in other Asian countries and retreats internationally since 2010.

SUMMARY OF TRIP ITINERARY

  • DAY 1- DELHI

    9/30/2025

    Our trip begins by arriving in Delhi. The capital of India is the main gateway to the country. If you want to take additional tours in Delhi, you can arrive a few days before and we will coordinate your tours in the capital.

    Arrival at Delhi International Airport, your transportation to the hotel is arranged. Arrival to the Hotel . There are no activities planned this day.

  • DAY 2 - AMRITSAR

    9/31/2025

    Amritsar: is the largest and most important city in Punjab and a major commercial, cultural and transportation hub. It is also the center of Sikhism and the main and holiest place of worship for the Sikh religion: the Harmandir Sahib or Golden Temple.

    In the morning, we take an early train to Amritsar. The train leaves at 07:20 and arrives at 13:30 at Amritsar. Upon arrival check into hotel. In the afternoon we visit the golden temple of the Sikh religion.

  • DAY 3 - AMRITSAR-DHARAMSALA

    Amritsar to Dharamsala

    Breakfast at the hotel at 8:00 am and then we will visit the Golden Temple again and also see the greatest dining room of the world.

    Then we leave at 10:00 am for Dharamshala. Arrival, time to rest an dine.

  • DAY 4 - DHARAMSALA

    9/2/2025

    Dharamsala

    The birthplace of Buddhism in India, home of the Dalai Lama and Tibetan settlement. Surrounded by cedar forests on the edge of the Himalayas, is the home of the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government in exile.

    Start your day with Yoga classes, breakfast at the hotel at 8:00 am and we leave to visit the temple and the house of Dalai Lama and then free time to visit the Tibetan Museum, walk through the streets of Mcleod Gang. In the afternoon, we visit a special place with Tibetan flags to meditate and enjoy the peace and energy of the place.

  • DAY 5- DHARAMSALA

    9/3/2025

    Dharamsala

    Yoga classes, breakfast at the hotel at 8:00 am and then we leave the hotel at 9:30 am to visit the Norbulinka monastery, inaugurated by Dalai Lama in 1996, built to preserve Tibetan art and culture. In this complex we can visit the Tibetan museum, temple, and we can also have lunch. In the afternoon, we return to the center and the hotel, free time for dinner.

  • DAY 6- DHARAMSALA A SHIMLA

    4/9/2025

    Dharamshala to Shimla

    Breakfast 7:30am at the hotel, 8:30 a.m. towards Shimla. Upon arrival, check in at hotel and time to relax. In the afternoon, Buddhism class. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

  • DAY 7 - SHIMLA

    5/9/2025

    Shimla: Breakfast at the hotel at 8:30 am and then we will visit the Hanuman temple (Jakhu Temple where you will have to climb some stairs), then we will visit “The Viceregal Lodge” – former residence of British viceroy of India, Then we will visit the second oldest church in North India and at the end we will visit the center of Shimla, Mall road. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel.

  • DAY 8- SHIMLA - RISHIKESH

    Shimla to Rishikesh

    Breakfast at the hotel in Shimla at 7:30 and then leave at 8:30 am for Rishikesh. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel, out to eat and welcome concert to Rishikesh.

  • DAYS 9,10,11- RISHIKESH

    7,8,9/9/2025

    Rishikesh

    The birthplace of Yoga in the foothills of the Himalayas and Ganges River, considered sacred and the city. Temples and ashrams (spiritual study centres) line the eastern bank around Swarg Ashram, a vegetarian, traffic-free and alcohol-free.

    During your stay at Devi Music Ashram, we will have breakfast included, daily yoga classes, and mantra and kirtan classes. We will have free afternoons to explore Rishikesh, participate in the Aarti ceremony on the Ganges, visit the Beatles Ashram, participate in Yoga classes with other teachers from India, among other planned activities..

  • DAY 12- RISHIKESH A VARANASI

    Rishikesh to Varanasi

     As per the arranged flight schedule, we drive by land to Dehradun airport to take the flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and rest, surprise activity at night, dinner included. Accommodation in the Tibetan monastery.

  • DAY 13- VARANASI

    9/11/2025

    Varanasi

    The most spiritual and famous pilgrimage city in India, considered the spiritual capital of India, the city attracts Hindu pilgrims who bathe in the sacred waters of the Ganges River and perform funeral rites. Along the city's winding streets there are about 2,000 temples.

    During our visit, we will participate in the sacred ceremony on the Ganges, the “AARTI”, we will visit Sarnaath, the place where the Buddha gave his first speech and visit diverse Buddhist sites and temples, overnight at the Tibetan monastery.

  • DAY 14 - VARANASI

    9/12/2025

    Varanasi

    We leave early at 5:00 am from the hotel to see the sunrise on the Ganges River on a boat where we have live classical music with Tablas and Sitar. Then we will return to the hotel at 9:30 a.m. approx. for breakfast, return to the hotel and optional activities.

  • DAY 15- VARANASI A AGRA

    9/13/2025

    Varanasi to Agra: Breakfast and according to the flight schedule, we leave for the Varanasi airport to take the flight to Delhi, upon arrival directly from the airport, we will go to Agra by land, stop for lunch. Upon arrival in Agra, check in at the hotel and then if we have time we can visit the Red Fort of Agra. Free dinner and hotel accommodation.

  • DAY 16 AGRA- DELHI

    9/14/2025

    Agra

    A city located on the banks of the Yamuna River. It was the capital of the Mughal Empire between 1556 and 1658.

    In the early morning at sunrise we will visit Taj Mahal then return to the hotel for breakfast and then check out and leave for Delhi. Upon arrival to Delhi, check in at a hotel and out for our final dinner .

  • DAY 17- DELHI DEPARTURE DAY

    9/15/2025

    Delhi:  

    Breakfast at the hotel and return to the capital, Delhi. As per your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Delhi Airport. End of the trip. Namaste
