Mystical Retreat
Join me for a magical retreat at the sacred Lake Atitlán in Guatemala. The lake's magical and spiritual energy is undeniable, and during this retreat, we will have the opportunity to experience its magnetic and peaceful attraction. The history of the Maya is deeply rooted in the majestic highlands surrounding Lake Atitlán.
This region, known for its stunning beauty and rich volcanic soil, provided an ideal environment for the ancient Maya civilizations to flourish. In the Popol Vuh, a sacred Mayan text, Lake Atitlán is said to be the center of the cosmos. The serene waters of Lake Atitlán serve as the backdrop for numerous sacred Mayan rites and rituals. These traditions, some of which date back to ancient times, play an indispensable role in the cultural and spiritual well-being of communities. By participating in these rituals and experiencing this sacred space, we will gain a glimpse into the Maya's enduring reverence for the cosmos and their ancestors. It is a crucial part of Mayan culture on Lake Atitlán.
Every afternoon, Lake Atitlán experiences a phenomenon called "Xocomil," a wind so strong it's believed to carry away the sins of the lake's inhabitants. It creates visible waves across the crater, and each morning, the lake once again falls silent, symbolizing rebirth. This retreat is designed to emulate Xocomil: to heal old wounds and open our hearts to new beginnings. If you're seeking a sense of renewal, well-being, and peace, this is the place to start.

Visit to the Chichicastenango Market: Visit a famous market in the land of the Quiché Maya. After a quick boat ride to Panajachel, you'll board a private van and drive for an hour through the fertile countryside. In Chichi, browse handicrafts, candles, flowers, and incense to find a special souvenir.
Temazcal Session: A traditional sauna is central to our retreat, helping us release toxins from the physical body and bringing stagnant emotional energy to the surface. There's even a tropical pool on-site to cool off and enjoy the afternoon sun.
SUP Session (Stand-up Paddleboarding on the Lake): In the heart of Guatemala, Lake Atitlán boasts beautiful crystal-clear waters and views of three towering volcanoes. Suitable for beginners, this is a magical experience on the lake, and the best way to do it was on a Stand-up Paddleboard. We paddled and sat, contemplating the beauty and serenity of the lake. An unforgettable memory.
Free time to walk, rest, use the pool, or engage in additional therapy.
